As a Portrait Photographer\, she focuses on telling stories and portraying imagery of people of diverse backgrounds\, ages\, and body sizes. A central theme in Evelyn Martinez’s work is ingenuity\, authenticity\, and inclusiveness. \nThe workshop will cover the following: \n– Demonstrating how a simple\, goal oriented and intentional project can give you the lived experiences that can take you to the professional level; \n– Explaining pitching and world of stock photography; \n– Sharing connections/resources that can help youth get started on that journey to professional photography; and \n– Using social media/word of mouth to leverage your work and to build community.
