DESCRIPTION:Stephanie Martinez (they/them\, she/her\, elle/ella) is a New York born and raised Garifuna visual artist. Their evolving artistic practice examines art as a political tool for collective healing and education of the working class and poor Black\, Indigenous\, Colonized peoples of the global majority. \nThis hybrid (virtual & in-person workshop) is an invitation for youth of the global majority to tap into their artist selves with a mental wellness night of painting\, drawing\, collaging with peers.
